Sundaresan is in a critical stage right now. He has been admitted to VLB but needs to pay the fees in a few days. The bankers are saying that they will give the loan only if they get a bonafide document from VLB and VLB wants him to pay the fees in order to release the document.
I went ahead and asked Kumar uncle to release the money (around 30K) for the fees. There is some risk of the loan not being made available and this cash not being paid back to us, but this seemed to be a risk worth taking, given the situation.
Kumar uncle has spend a few days with Sundaresan taking him to Chennai for counselling and also showing him the sights. This is the first time this kid has actually travelled in a train! They went to a prayer meeting with Paul Dinakaran's wife and uncle mentioned that she prayed for all of us and wished us success.

Good move on Sundaresan, Roy ! Keep us updated if the loan went through or not..
My dad told me that he did not get good score in 12th. So, he may need extra assistance in engineering even to scrape through. I think some kind of tuition should be arranged for him. What do you all think?
It looks like Sundaresan's family was able to find the money for this year (from neighbours and church). So, we do not have to pay. Also, the loan seems likely to happen also. He should hopefully be okay for funds going forward.
hey good news.... sundaresan has started going to college. he says that college is good. a little bit of ragging thats all... rest every thing is fine..
